At Nest & Nurture Play Therapy, we create a warm and welcoming space where children can freely explore their feelings, process events, and learn about themselves in a unique way.

We find immense joy in working closely with families, creating deep connections and nurturing lasting emotional growth together. While our sessions mainly focus on your child, we wholeheartedly recognise the essential roles that family and community play in every child’s journey. Our mission is to support everyone who is part of your child's life, which is why we offer consultative and filial (family) services that are specially designed for you and your little one. We truly believe that every child deserves to be heard, understood, and empowered, and every family deserves loving support throughout their journey.

We're delighted to offer play therapy services to children and families along the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland. We work and play out of two charming clinic locations in Caloundra and Nambour.

In-home visits and school visits are on the cards for later in the year, so contact us if you’d like to be updated on when this will be available.

Our Services

    Humanistic Play Therapy

    A child-centred approach to working with children in the playroom. Children are met where they’re at in their journey and are held with unconditional positive regard by their therapist. They are free to be who they need to be.

    Learn to Play Therapy

    Learn To Play Therapy is a guided approach to play therapy that focuses on enhancing play skills in children. While maintaining a humanistic perspective, therapists support children in gradually building their play skills to support them in their world.

    Filial Therapy

    A form of family therapy where therapists guide and support parents/caregivers to use therapeutic skills in their relationship with their children. Includes parent training, observations, feedback and support for parents to transfer into home life.
